a video not worth showing
but perhaps, sharing.
Thank you, everything
because why not now.
THE NEXT WAVE OF FILMMAKING
These last few years, I've been working on a personal goal of mine to learn how to film and photograph underwater. It's been a big learning curve but incredibly worth it. Taking the jump, I received my open water scuba and free dive certification these past few years and have spent a lot of time learning to shoot underwater. While this is only the beginning of this journey, I'm excited to have something I can finally show you.
IF I'M NOT HERE TOMORROW
I made this film in the midst of reflecting on my life after an old childhood friend passed away. It’s one of those feelings that I could never really shake, seeing someone leave this life.
TURNING LIFE INTO MOVIES
This video ended up being one of my favorites due to the fact that there was no planning involved. I took a trip with some internet friends and took my camera with me. This video is a reflection on the feelings I got while on the trip.
TO ALL MY DARK NIGHTS
A remastered version of one of my favorite videos I made in high school. It was during this time of my life that I began to create very self reflective video essays. Ironically, when I look back on these videos, I find words and feelings that are present even in my life today.
BACKPACKING NEW ZEALAND
My first SOLO international trip. This was the start of something so big for me.
A diary entry from Joshua Tree National Park.
A visual entry from Portland, Oregon.
A collection of works from around the world.
